Is the satellite measuring tool an extra charge?
No. Visual measuring over satellite imagery, job photos, and plan PDFs is included with every estimator seat on every plan. AI plan takeoffs from full PDF sets are the only pay-per-project item.
How accurate are satellite measurements?
Quantities are computed from the map's real-world scale at your zoom level, so accuracy depends on how closely you trace the edge. Use the slope and roof-pitch factors so sloped surfaces aren't under-counted, and confirm on-site for anything tolerance-critical.
Can I measure curved beds or round features?
Yes. Trace curves by dropping points along the edge, or use the circle tool for round features — it shows radius, diameter, and area as you drag.
Does it outline areas for me?
On a satellite session, turn on AI outline and tap a lawn or roof — Servato traces the edge it can see in the imagery, usually in a few seconds, and you can drag any point afterwards. It's a head start, not a survey: check the edge, and hand-trace anything it can't separate (shaded or mixed surfaces) — it tells you when it couldn't find a shape rather than guessing.
Does it work in Spanish?
Yes. The measure tool, layer panel, and the exported PDF are fully bilingual — each user picks their language.
